The Royal Society Digital Journal Archive, dating back to 1665 and containing more than 60,000 articles, is available online at www.journals.royalsoc.ac.uk and is free to access by subscribers to Royal Society's new journal subscription packages.
Directory of Open Access Journals. This service covers free, full text, quality controlled scientific and scholarly journals. We aim to cover all subjects and languages. There are now 2622 journals in the directory. Currently 790 journals are searchable at article level. As of today 130491 articles are included in the DOAJ service.
The OpenDOAR service provides a quality-assured listing of open access repositories around the world. OpenDOAR staff harvest and assign metadata to allow categorisation and analysis to assist the wider use and exploitation of repositories. Each of the repositories has been visited by OpenDOAR staff to ensure a high degree of quality and consistency in the information provided: OpenDOAR is maintained by SHERPA.
